Who I Am: Hi!😄 My name is Caity. I am an experienced housesitter. It started as just a one time thing and became a great side job while I was in school. I would love to continue this side job as a way to earn a little extra money for all the traveling I plan to do in the future. I am 100% honest and very detailed oriented. I am not shy to ask any questions however dumb I think they are. I have actually caught a few things during my house sits, an example of this actually happened during an repeat dog sitting job. The homeowner had left the incorrect sized measuring cup for scooping dog food. It was a 1/4 cup rather than a 3/4 cup. The instructions left by the homeowner indicated one scoop in the morning and one scoop in the afternoon. So needless to say, those dogs would have been way underfed the weekend the homeowners were away if I hadn't double checked with them on the correct measurement. Description of Skills: Most of my house sitting jobs, if not all, have centered around pet care and maintaining a presence in the home (setting out trash/recycling, collecting mail, watering plants). I have never had any pets of my own besides one or 2 beta fishes when I was little lol. However, through initial walk throughs from each homeowner, I get to meet them and their pets, and I write down what is expected to be done each day. All homeowners I have worked with are usually good about leaving detailed instructions as a useful guide.
