House Sitter in Springfield, Oregon

Hello, my name is Vicki Megowan. I am a retired state worker having worked for DHS Child Welfare for 21 years. My main motivation to do house-sitting is to be able to travel and house-sit in different communities. I am a mother of 2 adult children and a previous pet owner for cats. I am a present home-owner in Springfield, Oregon and would like to make myself available for jobs posted primarily in the Eugene/Portland and Seattle area during the vacation months for starters. I can also provide character references if needed. I am very detailed oriented, providing services the home-owner wants me to fulfill and tend to go beyond what is needed as I am extremely conscientious and excellent in providing ongoing communication if needed while the homeowners are away. I also believe in providing the best available pet care, whether this means taking a dog for a walk or administering medications to a pet requiring medication. Many years ago, I did house-cleaning while earning money as a student and understand the mechanics of home-maintenance and providing basic pet care.
