House Sitter Job in Gig Harbor, Washington

Endearing geriatric animals require care and attention while Mama goes to retrieve Nana. We live on 2/3 of an acre in the quaint, waterfront community of Gig Harbor, WA. Oedipus is a 21 year old part Manx cat; both affectionate, Spiritual, and vocal. He receives IVs twice a week from our local Vet Techs. He eats well and has no other medical needs, but I do like to brush him to reduce hairballs. Our 6.5 # dog Miss Prissy has cataracts. She gets an easy drop in each eye upon awakening, then eye cream in both eyes at night. Prissy is a quiet,mellow 13 year old Havanese lap-dog that loves to snuggle. Kept short, her coat gets brushed 1-2x a day to diminish tangles. Her food & water is set out all day, and taken up at 7:00 PM to reduce accidents. Aside from the pets, trash goes out once a week, and recycling every other week. We have an automatic sprinkler that can be set when the weather's hot. House plants need watering, and some of the potted plants nearby the home require water; sometimes fertilizer. If someone was willing to do some weeding, that would be a wonderful bonus. We have a bearing fig tree, and an overgrown garden that could use some TLC.
