House Sitter in Phoenix, Arizona

Hello, my Name is Randeen and my partner Alan and I live and work I the beautiful Virgin Islands Nov- June each year. In our off season we travel throughout Canada USA Carribean and overseas. A few years back we were asked by guest aboard our yacht if we would be interested in house sitting their home in California for a month. This turned out to be a great way to travel and visit new places and viola!! Our summer profession was born. For the most part house sitting simply saves us lodging expenses as we explore new places but some situations also provided a stipend/wage for completion additional duties or responsibilities, such as overseeing a Reno project, working a small gift shop. Bed breakfast relief staffers. Really we are pretty capable and open to whatever comes our way!! About us. We are Late forties/early fifties, both from Canada, (Winnipeg and Ottawa). I am a former school teacher and Alan was in restaurant hospitality business. We operate a term Charter Company in the British Virgin Islands, hosting guests aboard our yachts for week long sailing vacations. I also own rental properties in Canada and Arizona. We spend a few hours each day working on our computer, managing websites, connecting with future guests and attending to whatever business needs arise. We are neat and tidy (he says compulsively clean) and fairly handy around the house for any small projects or emergencies that may arise. Our free time is filled traveling, golfing, hiking /running (Alan not me!) good food & drink, music festivals, concerts, farmers markets and fairs,... Pretty much exploring all the things that make your community unique!! We love, love, love household pets, and in fact if it suits you and is possible for your situation we would love to bring along our little guy- a 14 lb shitzu named Ritz. Ritz is 3yr old and he came to live with us one year ago after his owner /an elderly aquaintance of ours passed away. Ritz has been by my side every day since. He is small, hypo-allergenic, non shedding, low energy, well behaved, quiet, house/boat trained, lovable pet friendly dog. If for whatever reason you do not feel introducing a dog into your home environment will work we have a line of family who can't wait to watch Ritz for us if need be.
