House Sitter in Arlington, Virginia

Greetings, I am a 36 year old single mother looking for creative ways to be able to stay home with my son as much as possible during the first 2 years of his life. I recently found an amazing residential co-op with a pay-what-you-can ownership option but there is no current opening so I am hoping that I can find some child friendly housesitting positions until I can buy into the co-op. My son is 7 months old so he is not yet crawling and not yet able to reek the havoc that toddlers are known for. Since I do have a baby I am interested in maintaining a clean living environment and high nutrition diet as I am breastfeeding. I am a singer/songwriter and long time peace activist. i would describe myself as a good balance between laid back and responsible. My first preference would be a position in Arlington,VA but I am willing to travel for an opportunity that is a really good fit. The longer term, the better, but all positions will be considered. Pet friendly as long as the living space is not overwhelmed by pet hair and dander. THANKS!
