Hello, We are Johanna and Lisa, twins sisters, 29 years old, who have been travelling, working, housesitting and petsitting together for the past 10 years all around the world. We are passionated by the discovery of new culture, nature, people, wildlife... Our love for our planet and all its beings has developed very early and never left us ! We built our own NGO called EVI, for the protection of wildlife and the environment worldwide, three years ago. This is a lot of hard and exciting work, that also leaves us a total independence and flexibility. Doing house and pet sitting came up as a wonderful way to bring together all our passions. We are very well minded, smily and easygoing persons. We truly enjoy helping, as much as we love meeting and sharing with people around the world. While travelling, we also quickly started to miss the presence of animals who always took a big place in our lives. We enjoy a lot being able to care for many others. Taking care of an animal requires tenderness, passion, attention, love, and we are full of those to share. We are also very handy, we gladly help taking care of a garden, or if something needs fixing in the house, even to build things like little games for the pets, a doghouse, a cathouse...Leaving the keys of your home to strangers is a delicate thing to do. Our priority is to make you feel safe, and able to relax during your absence. To help you do that, we are happy to send regular news, joined with photos/videos. Part of our experiences during travels was to work in hostels in north and south america. We had to manage the desk and customers and to make sure the hostel remains clean and tidy at all time. We also did cleaning from time to time in exchange of a bed here and there. And we both live by oursleves since 10 years. We have a good knowledge of how to keep a house in well condition, and respect both basics and specifics rules. We are currently creating our own house and petsitting platform and a website to help people and their animals everywhere in the world. We had the chance to look after more beautiful animals than we can count, all ages and all conditions, always with the same passion and the same love. Our experiences lead us to understand deeply the needs of each pets and owners. It is important to realize that each of them are confronted to someone they never met before and whom they need to trust instantly. We intend to respect that. We gladly take the time to hear the owners specifics wishes and recommandations, and we know how to adapt to the animals personalities in order to make them feel comfortable and safe with us. Lisa also volunteered for an NGO during 2 months in south america with big cats, tapir, toucan, pigs, etc. She was personally assigned to an ocelot and a puma. We are photographers on our own time, and we are happy to provide with good quality photos and videos during our sittings.
