House Sitter in Tampa, Florida

I am commuting from Dallas, TX to Tampa from mid-Feb to September. I will be in Tampa Mondays-Fridays each week (back in Dallas on weekends). I am bringing not much more than my clothes, so I have no pets and it is just me. I am a 25 year homeowner myself in DFW and am waiting to find a home in Tampa until my wife arrives in September. My son is finishing his senior year of high school this spring and will head to college, so my wife will remain in DFW with him probably until he goes to college. A former CEO of mine house sat about 10 years ago and said it was a win-win for him and the actual homeowners. So, rather than pay ridiculous rent for a tiny apartment, I am exploring the house sitting option. My office will be in the Westshore area near the mall, so a house within 10 miles or so of that location would be optimal, but not required as I am accustomed to a bit of a drive each morning now.
