***UPDATE*** I'm here to share some really personal information. In November 2019 I suffered my first of three (confirmed) strokes. In March of 2020, the Covid pandemic shut down the world and in April and May, I suffered two more small strokes. I've been blessed that the only major effects of the strokes seem to be that I need to walk with my cane more and some issues with my speech...I stumble over my words when speaking, especially when getting excited or upset. Due to Covid quarantine restrictions, it has been a VERY tough time getting medical appointments and treatment and once restrictions were loosened up this year I have been put through a battery of tests and treatments and while some of the results have turned out okay, some have turned out not so great (MS) and some have even left me with a scary upcoming future in the upcoming months. I'm already living a very limited 'existence with my life and that's why I'm updating this profile. Before I start any treatments that may leave me incapacitated or confined, I would dearly love to see and spend some time at the beach (preferably one with lots of shells so I could look for seashells and sharks teeth and maybe sand dollars) before having to start this next battle alone. I'm hoping someone might have an extended housesitting position available with low stress, very close to a beach anywhere??? I'm not looking for any money, but I would need assistance paying for any pet food that is needed. Thank you for considering me. House sitting for others would offer me a chance to travel a bit & help other people out. I have an income, so I can offer my services for cheap, too! Good with plants and animals. Have 3 grown children & 10 wonderful grandchildren, and now 2 new precious great-grandchildren so I'm great with kids, as well :) Also, don't let the distance on my profile limit you. It would only allow me to choose 100 miles from my zip code but I will travel anywhere if arrangements can be worked out!
