House Sitter in Honolulu, Hawaii

Originally from the states, I have made Kyoto Japan my adopted home and support myself through collecting and dealing in Japanese art. Until last winter we owned 2 lovely cats, one of which unfortunately passed away last year at the ripe old age of 21. As a seasoned traveler, animal lover, and someone who appreciates culture on a deep level, house-sitting offers the chance to combine these pastimes and affords the opportunity to live in various locations around the world. For this reason, I prefer long stays and generally do not apply for anything under one week. A non-smoker who rarely drinks and enjoys cycling, running, and yoga, I like to keep things clean and organized and approach every house-sit with the goal in mind of leaving things a little better than I found them -- whether it be by taking on small cleaning or improvement projects or maybe by leaving a small gift as a show of appreciation.
