Hi, I'm Penny! I'm a writer and studier of ancient history, philosophy, and classical literature. I have lived in seven states and three countries, but Chicago has been my home now for five years! I grew up having cats and dogs and have worked on several farms with horses, goats, pigs, chickens, etc. I love going on long walks through the park with a canine pal, or staying in and reading a classic with a kitten sleeping on my lap.
