House Sitter in Washington, District of Columbia

Dear Home Owner, For 15 years, I have done house sitting in the DC area returning to house sit at the same homes for years. These homes are located in Alexandria, Cheverly and Bethesda. I am very careful, respectful, had security checks and can provide excellent references. Part of my reason for house sitting is that I enjoy learning about new areas and cultural activities. As well, for 15 years, I have conducted research remotely at a well-known Museum in Washington. I frequently return to DC for 1-2 weeks to work on specific research topics. I am a non-smoker, neat and tidy, keeping regular hours. I have cared for cats, dogs, plants, yards and light maintenance while house sitting. I enjoy being with animals. I have fed dogs, walked dogs and like to play with them. Cats and I get along famously and keep each other entertained. At my own home, I have a large garden and lots of experience caring for plants inside and out. Having renovated two houses, I understand how houses work and take good care of things.
