House Sitter in Greenwich, Connecticut

Hello, My name is Sarah, I am 29 years old, and I live in downtown Greenwich, CT where I was born and raised. I have two tabby cats (Nathaniel and Demon) that keep me on my toes. During the week my 9-to-5 job is "Office Assistant" for an audio and lighting integration firm in Norwalk, CT. I spend my weekends writing, drawing, doing house projects, and camping. I have a Bachelor's degree from Western CT State University and I spent a year abroad in China. I often get calls from family members and friends for house sitting even for long stretches of time. I can provide references for several people willing to vouch for me at your convenience. I am proficient with technology and I can figure out most electronics. I am a very fastidious and cleanly person, I try to leave a space cleaner than when I arrived. I know that when you go away you want to make sure your home and pets are well cared for (as we all do) and in trusted hands; I do not take that trust lightly. I will never invade anyone's personal space. I listen to your boundaries for your household. As for pets I have been a cat owner for most of my life and get along with even the most prickly of felines. My cats are my darlings and I give them all the love and care they could possibly want. I haven't owned as many dogs because my sister is allergic, but I worked at Best Friends Pet Care (in Norwalk, CT) for 3 years. At Best Friends, I learned animal behavior, pet dietary needs, health signs to keep an eye on, basic grooming, and how to help a pet feel at home. Since I don't have a dog at home I'm twice as enthusiastic about other people's pups. I love dogs and cats, and I'm familiar with some smaller animals. I do not breed discriminate as long as you think your pet and I can get along. Your plants are in good hands with me, my window is filled with green leaves and happy plants. Just give me clear instructions and I'll follow them dutifully. I'm putting myself out there as a sitter because the extra income will help me pay off my student loans, but also because it's nice getting out of the house to meet new people and their furry family members. I live with my parents so even when I'm away I know my cats are in good hands which allows me to have a flexible schedule. I am currently looking at local house sitting jobs so that my commute stays reasonable. As long as a job isn't too far away from where I work I am very flexible on weekdays and able to adapt to situations as needed. On weekends I am able to travel a bit further because I do not have to worry about my commute.
