I have now personally trained, cared for, and worked with dogs, cats, horses, rodents, and reptiles. My experience with pets now spans ALL sizes, ages, many breeds, a fair and unfortunate number of animals with physical handicaps and illnesses. I work with aggressive pets, younger pets, sick pets, new pet parents, and there is no fear of pet behaviors anymore, as well as ZERO anger toward pets when they do the "wrong thing", regardless of what it is. I absolutely love animals and I really value the time I spend with them and the things we teach each other! <3 My services include full-time one-on-one attention with pets and I offer training with and without pet parents present, but I like to clarify that I am NOT a certified trainer. I also do NOT use "force-training" methods or devices such as electric fences, shock collars, choke collars, bark collars, or anything else that I know inflicts pain or repeatedly causes discomfort universally, or after noticing expression of it. I am always flexible about doing extra walks, including some command/training practice on walks, or even doing a little speed-walking or jogging for however long the dog and I are not fatigued, unhappy, or seemingly not enjoying the behavior anymore, as well as playtime and the length of that, the type of play, and the rules for stopping play immediately or in general due to not wanting to overexert the dog, and I ALWAYS include massages, ESPECIALLY after playtime or really active walks, UNLESS the dog shows any discomfort PAST the possible initial withdrawal or shock from not being used to the interaction type, but maybe ok with it when it is better understood through baby steps forward and backward for a while.
