Hola all, We live in N. Hollywood and also Costa Rica. Seeking a mature and responsible couple or single person to house-sit In Costa Rica, on 3 acres of a beautiful lush quiet and private and private property on the tip of Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica. Our village is Delicias de Cobano. Nature at your doorstep, lots of wildlife, howler and white-faced monkeys are regular visitors. Also perfect for breathtaking birdwatching, gorgeous Morpho royal blue butterfly-watching and the agile Agouti-eyeing as well. Dates needed are May 10th to Oct. 15th 2015. Our expectations are to guard the place, mow the lawn (4 hours per week) and daily care of in-ground pool. The sitters have a choice of a one or two-bedroom casita, with a laundry facility adjacent to them. Pay for your utilities, electricity approx. $50/month and water $10/month ( depending on your needs). Internet access, SKYPE works very well. We are about 5 minutes drive (25 minutes walk) to the village of Delicias, and a 15 minute drive from the town of Cobano (shopping, groceries, dentists, medical centers...etc. and 15 min. drive to Montezuma town and beach. We recommend you have your own transportation, but reliable taxis are available. Walking and biking are also good options. There is no bus run, we are located in the country, and in the rainy season the roads get muddy, but the rain is usually at night or doesn't last all day, and the landscape is astonishingly lush at this time of year. We have a dog named Poka who lives here, who is a mixed Lab and Rhodesian ridgeback, very friendly, but still a good guardian. There is fantastic zip line with nature trail and horseback-riding adventures just down the road, minutes away. On the property itself are bountiful fruit trees and pretty flowering plants of all shapes and sizes to marvel you as you take a dip in the glorious infinity pool by the relaxing rancho, at the end of the daily tasks. There are thrilling waterfalls, flowing creeks, and great surf countless places, along with a fun and entertaining nightlife, including disco, making this getaway a once-in-a-lifetime deal.
