Hey there! I have been housesitting/pet sitting in and around the Missoula area for years now. I have raised my own animals and have experience from helping my friends and family with their pets. I raised a wonderful, EXTREMELY spoiled, golden retriever to the age of 13. He has since passed on to his next life and I really miss the companionship and the unconditional love he gave me. Coming home from work was my favorite time a day because I knew my dog was waiting excitedly behind the door to greet me with his fast wagging tail and his dancing paws! Dakota, the golden retriever I speak of unfortunately had some health issues towards the last 5 years of his life but I did everything I could to keep him healthy, comfortable, and happy. This included taking the time to cook him healthy meals, administered medications, and I took him swimming A LOT when his joints were too bad for him to walk. And most importantly gave him lots of time, affection, and love. I am not quite ready for a new dog yet as I plan to do some international traveling in the near future however until that time arrives I like to give my time and TLC to other people’s furry friends! I am just as willing to go above and beyond for your pets needs as I did for Dakota. I currently work a part time job which allows me to provide plenty of time with your furry family member(s). Whatever your pet(s) heart desires or needs are, I have the energy and time to accommodate those desires whether that would be stopping over for a visit to feed, play, or walk/hike your pet(s) and I am available to stay overnight long term or short term, whatever fits your needs. While I am in your home I can also keep up with watering plants or your garden, collect the mail, shovel snow, etc. I can also administer medication and insulin if your pet needs any of those types of things. I can provide you with multiple references from others I have house/pet sat for. I would also be more than happy to meet you in person, so you can ask me questions and you can get an idea if I would be a good fit for your family and for your furry family member(s).
