I am a single with a corporate background, now an RVer, Business Consultant and Life Coach. I love my work and that I can do it from wherever I am. Camping is great but I miss daily life in a community so I enjoy house/pet sitting. ANIMALS: I love animals and have experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, birds, etc., so I will care for yours with the same love and attention I would give them if they were my own. I have great success with anxious or skittish animals and have worked with rescues. Walking dogs or horses on a lead is no problem, and I have years of experience with pet rabbits. Consistency with pets is important, so I will follow your routines and practices and will work with them on training if desired. HOME OWNERSHIP: Over the years I have owned four homes ranging in age from historic to modern, so I am very familiar with all that can go wrong and what to do when it does. I have managed a retreat center and maintained pools. I have lived in the boondocks and in gated communities, and am at ease in both. IF STAYING AT YOUR PROPERTY: I am neat and tidy, will keep your things just as you left them, and not overtake your home with mine. I am quiet and considerate of neighbors, so there will be no complaints. I am conscientious of resources, so I only turn on the lights I need, turn them off when I leave a room, and conserve water. I rarely use an oven, dishwasher, or TV, preferring raw foods, washing dishes by hand, music and reading. Your home will be kept just as you leave it, and your utility bills considerably lower under my care than with any other sitter. SAFETLY AND PRIVACY: I was raised to respect others, their belongings, and their privacy. Clients entrust their companions and belongings to me and I do not take that trust lightly. I will care for your pets/animals, home, and possessions just as I would want you to care for mine. I will not riffle through your private things or discuss your personal business with others.
