What you gain: confidence to leave your home and/or your pets, plants, property in reliable hands, and have the relaxing experience you deserve. * I am semi-retired, working Monday - Thursday in Langley. My work hours are flexible, generally 6:00 am to 1:30 pm so there is ample time to make sure pets are walked and talked with, as well as household/gardening chores if desired. * Owner of my summer home where I live at the south end of Cultus Lake from April 1 - October 31 every year. I have a 13 year old small Sheltie (Razzi) well behaved, loves cats and dogs and kids alike. * Hobbies: reading (lots), cooking, walking trails with my dog (getting harder as she gets older), setting up and maintaining my small garden, sewing when I find something interesting to work on. If you need cushions replaced/repaired, curtains made, etc., I have experience there a well. * During the winter months (November to March 31), Raz and I need to live elsewhere as our home is closed for the winter. For the past two years, we have lived on cabin cruisers on the Fraser River in Fort Langley. Loved it, but we would also like to explore other areas. * I am not a fan of the travel between Chilliwack and Abbotsford during the winter as I work in Langley, Therefore, we would prefer to housesit somewhere closer than Cultus Lake /Chilliwack in the winter. Open to Delta, South Surrey, Burnaby, Port Coquitlam, Aldergrove, even as far as Abbotsford. I am very reliable and can provide excellent references - both work and personal - particularly from the people that own the boats I've been living on and the care I took of the boats. Raz and I are looking forward to long term relationships in house sitting. We would prefer a 5 month booking, if possible, but are open to suggestions at the right locations.
