Hi, There! We are Stef & Trev, high school sweethearts turned married professionals. Stef is an actress who starred in the Netflix Original, The Get Down and Trev is a stand-up comedian who performs live and runs his pop culture podcast, Trev Talks. We love a home with pets! Because of our careers, we've had to adopt away our own fur babies (a dog and cat) and always jump at the opportunity to be around animals. We are flexible in terms of living space. We've lived in a high rise Manhattan apartment building, a 240 square foot studio in Oakland, a beautiful home in the hills of LA -- just about everywhere! We love homes with easy access to groceries, restaurants and cultural institutions, but are also comfortable in more rural or family friendly neighborhoods. We are artists so we appreciate and respect the different vibes of all kinds of living spaces and neighborhoods. We want to house sit because we love exploring new and interesting people and places. As professional artists and entertainers, we are constantly travelling. We've developed the attitude that 'home' is wherever we are -- in a way, we create the atmosphere of home wherever we go. Because of this attitude, we've come to love spending time in different cities, homes, and neighborhoods. Much of our artistic material and stimuli has relied on these varied experiences with different living environments. In short, the home-sitting lifestyle suits our artistic careers and curious personalities. We are relatively new to traditional house-sitting, however, we have extensive experience being Airbnb guests for short term and long term "entire home" stays. For those unfamiliar with Airbnb, it is a company which links homeowners with people looking for affordable, homey lodging. We have excellent reviews on their site from hosts in NY, LA, Toronto, Canada, Hawaii and more. Essentially, we've had much experience with caring for others homes as if they were our own. We're experienced former pet owners so we will provide specific and meticulous care for your pet(s). We also love caring for gardens and plants. Stef's organizational skills coupled with Trevor's attention to detail experience will leave your place clean and neat. Stef also has a license in case you need any errands ran while you are away.
