House Sitter in Austin, Texas

Hello there! I work as a professional IT Support Specialist from home (I travel every 5-6 weeks for work). I'm home all day and then like to spend my evenings outside. This typically involves a walk, a hike, or a bike ride. I love to eat out and explore local art and music. I have an art degree and my hobby is woodworking, so I use my left brain at work all day and my right brain all night. As for house-sitting I'm looking to travel away from my home in Austin, Texas and to visit new places I haven't been. Ideally I'll have mountains or lakes nearby to explore and dogs to spend time with throughout the day. Because I work from home I have a LOT of time to travel and take care of pets (including my 2 dogs). This summer I am also enrolled in summer school so I have homework to keep me busy. As of right now, I do not own my own home and have been traveling. In the past I have had 4 homes of my own (and recently remodeled the last one) but want to limit my expenses. I love pets of all kinds and homes of all kinds and am very gladly willing to help you care for your home! I have had my own pets throughout my lifetime including turtles, ducks, hamsters, birds, indoor and outdoor cats and dogs. I currently have a Jack Russel mix (Pongo is 12) and a Mini Australian Shepherd (Lefty is 1). They have traveled with me across the country and are fantastic house-guests. Lefty is in training to eventually earn the credentials as a therapy dog. One of my top strengths (if you're familiar with the StrengthsFinder concept) is responsibility.
