House Sitter in Austin, Texas

We have many years of experience house sitting and pet minding. I used to house sit almost all months of the year while living in Toronto, ON and my partner currently housesits for folks in Austin on the regular. I have two dogs of my own and they get along with most any other dogs and ideally our dogs can be there as well. This is not a deal breaker, however. One dog is scared of cats so we are careful about these introductions. We are staying in Austin for the few months (January to April, 2024) while my partner goes around town giving haircuts--she used to own a salon on the East Side, Lulu Belle's. Curly hair specialist and I do my online school and remote work to bits as we are heading up to Canada at the end of April. Both of us could stay in your home and sometimes we split up the housesit opportunities especially if there are multiple requests per stretch of time. Since we travel around in our little Scamp travel for our own journeys and fun we are also willing to housesit anywhere in the US and Canada. We both can provide references. We will also consider other small handy jobs like painting, some garden clean up, and research--I do remote research work for some companies in Canada on a contract basis and so am always interested in more. That said, I am largely a remote worker so a great wifi signal is always better. Your home will be occupied almost 24/7 and the difference will be noticeable when your come home and your pet family has had company the entire time. I'm a travelling Indigenous Studies/Sociology student who is also legal to live and work in the US. My partner is a US citizen.
