House Sitter in San Francisco, California

We have been taking advantage of our recent retirement with international travel. We love to meet people by renting B&Bs &/or home stays. Some of the best parts of our trips have been the conversations we have had with our hosts to better understand their environment, way of life, and their world perspective. We have always had very positive feedback regarding our care for the houses we have stayed in through AIR BNB and Home Away properties. Now we are becoming grandparents and need to be in the Bay Area as we will be babysitting our first grandchild twice a week from February to September, 2018. Leo is retired both from the Entomology Department, as well as Faculty Development, from the University of California, Riverside, and still volunteers there weekly, when in town. He is a fine wood worker and is very handy with home repairs. We have lived in the same home in Southern California for over 34 years so we can be considered steady and reliable. Ellen worked as a speech pathologist for 37 years in the California public school system. She enjoys taking walks, or working out at the YMCA each day, and is an ornamental gourd artist. For many years we have been house-sitting at a house in Kentfield, outside of San Francisco, each July and can obtain references if needed. We have always wanted to experience living in the Bay Area and look forward to taking care of your home, garden, and pets, with care and love. We could be available before and after the above mentioned dates but are most interested in the timeline of when we will be babysitting our granddaughter in San Francisco.
