*Overview: Greetings Gentlepersons; My name is Amie. I am seeking employment with you as a professional sitter for your home, property, pets. I am 51 years old, single, with no children. In other words my priority would be my work and doing the best job for you without distraction or other demanding commitments. I am federally bonded. I have no criminal record, no arrests or convictions. No tickets, accidents etc.. I have passed state law enforcement psychological. Etc... *Service Abilities: I am well suited to the position and somewhat more so than a typical housesitter. I also have some atypical experience. I have watched homes in Brentwood, Malibu, Santa Monica, Laguna, Lake Arrowhead, etc.. I have raised, rescued, cared for and loved many pets I still consider as family, each being unique and specifically loved as such. I have been surrogate, special buddy, and regular helper also to many. The most fascinating, amazing, rewarding part of these relationships is the love received, without question or condition. But, seemingly for only the attention given in any measure. Additionally, I worked for many years in protection as Dignitary Bodyguard, Security Supervisor, and as Responder/Specialist for Fire, Hazardous Materials, Emergency Medical, and Disaster Services. I performed these as Supervisor of a large crew for the J. Paul Getty Trust at Getty Center. (and at Malibu Villa). Therefore, I also have experience in care, conservation of art, rare assets, and large properties. My positions with Dignitary clients has taught me the importance of proprietary information, and to value my client's privacy, as well as keeping my own demeanor friendly but professional, keeping both your and my own matters of any type as private, my reputation spotless, in order to reflect well on my client. I do not gossip, complain, insinuate, nor do I listen to such, beyond noting and sharing with you if applicable. I am courteous, clean, organized, punctual, alert, and while I am gregarious I have no problem spending time alone, preferably with furry friends though. I also have experience in keeping house. I am exceptional at it according to the remarks of those I have cleaned for. I have business management skills that I have utilized in wholesale/retail sales, and assisting duties. I am a former member of the LAPD Canine Association, worked with and supervised our own canine units, participated in their training. I have owned large and small birds and are very fond of all birds. I rescued and raised large Ravens from very very young. I had them with me for nearly 21 years. I have owned, grew up around, exercised and loved horses all of my life. I ride western, and dressage (deutsch). I understand their care, needs, reactions, and some of their language etc... And understand their intelligence, need for play and attention. I have also earned by meticulously cleaning and polishing tack. So, I am comfortable and willing to provide the following services if needed with compensation adjusted and/or negotiable dependant upon your needs at given time. : * watching your home/property, providing daily care, troubleshooting and solutions or response if necessary. * maintaining a presence there in your absence not as an afterthought or just sleeping over, but as priority. Keeping it filled with the life you have given it. * maintaining your usual schedule, your guidelines, following your instructions and rules. * performing regular and scheduled tasks as needed. * keeping it up, or cleaning to whatever level you wish, including special cleaning or organizing. Cleaning up after self is a given. (Note: have experience in high level detailing for autos, motorbikes, etc... Knowledge of best methods, products, tools for cleaning almost anything. Such as laundry, flooring (tile, marble, stone, wood(s),travertine, concrete, carpet.. Etc.. ) glass, metals (incl. Stainless, silver, brass & copper.), Surfaces ceiling to floor and fixtures... * Knowledge of antiques, fine art, collectibles preservation, and maintenance. * Caring for your pets, of all types, including: Dogs, Cats, Birds(parrots, finches, chickens, geese, swans, owls etc) , Horses, Reptiles(any type/ size), Snakes(all types/sizes), Rodents, pigs Spiders, Fish (freshwater:pond or tank. Saltwater and live tank) goats, unusual, exotic. **maintaining their schedules and rules to your specifications. Giving them affection, attention, providing exercise, play, safety as well as basic and/or special care and/or feeding. Responding to any health or emergent situations. ** treating them as both individuals as well as part of the family group. ** aid in curbing unwanted behaviors. ** regular equipment maintenance, cleanliness. (And, necessary clean up after them. Including the following of laws related to pets.) ** love & like dogs of all sizes and/or breeds. Know a good deal about breed characteristics physical, instinctual, and emotional. And, effects of former negative experience * will perform errands, tasks, shopping, as well as stocking and preparing for your return. * able to and will perform a vast variety of tasks on your behalf and as directed by you. Nor will I receive unauthorized guests, or those not very well known to me. * I will constantly be on alert for any security, or safety breaches, threat, fire hazard, necessary repair. I am skilled at immediate response as well as what steps are prudent thereafter including communication with local authorities and emergency response units. * your home and property will be treated with respect and cared for vigilantly. You will be able to reach me at all times or receive a call back immediately should something keep me from answering right then. * you will be kept notified of all that occurs as you wish or require as a daily log shall be maintained.
