My name is Heather. I am a 43 year-old native Texan that just left the tech industry and am looking to help someone in need who will in turn, help me as well with occasional extra income. No dog has ever scared me; I don’t believe in “risky breeds.” I believe dogs are true angels among us. I can also appreciate the snarkiness of a domestic cat! I have always had cats until just recently, so I like to visit a home with cats and am even comfortable giving diabetic pets insulin shots. I also have experience caring for an African Gray parrot while its human was undergoing cancer treatment. Fish, reptiles, guinea pigs, hamsters; really I love them all. My significant other is an excellent organic gardener whereas I keep succulents. I am confident that I can competently look after irrigation of any yard or garden, without over or under-watering being a concern. I most recently had an extended housesitting job for an oil field worker with extensive landscaping and acreage. I kept track of his mail and met with all plumbers, electricians, landscapers, contractors and general laborers for any work that was done at his home. I am in my third week of life with a puppy who has come along very well in her training and is the light of my life that keeps me laughing and feeling loved.
