House Sitter in Bloomingdale, Illinois

Hi there, my name is Lynn Thank you for looking at my profile, . I am looking forward to working with you! I'm looking for a basic House sitting job. Plant feeding, mail and light housekeeping are ok, however, at this time I am not looking to pet sit or do property maintenance. I do have my own transportation, if that is a factor. I'm currently located near Chicago IL, but would love to travel for the job! Let me tell you a bit about myself: I am a 54 year old single wornan. I grew up in Algonquin IL, a (used to be) small town outside of Chicago. I graduated from Carroll College ( now University) in Waukesha, WI with a bachelors degree in Communications and French, but decided that what I really wanted was to be a flight attendant (turned out I was too short .. I'm only 5ft) So, since I couldn't do that, I went to Travel School and became a corporate Travel Agent, a job I loved for 10 1/2 years until the internet came along and travel agencies kind of tanked. After that, I worked for the next 19 years for Travelclick , a global company that was sold just before I left for 930 Million dollars. I love to Travel, and have been all over the US, and to England, Ireland, Mexico, Canada, France, Switzerland and Germany. My favorite passtimes are reading books, doing puzzles, watching TV, shopping and movies. I'm a big fan of Country Music and Broadway shows.. well,. anything entertaining really .. I'm in! . I'm not athletic, but I do love to Kayak ( even though there is not much opportunity where I live in IL.) I'm not an adventure seeker per se, but I have gone Hot Air Ballooning, Indoor Sky diving, and Zip lining. So, all that said, I hope that shows that I am a smart, capable, mature, professional l woman who would be great at watching your home for you.
