House Sitter in Golden, British Columbia

Application: I hope you are having a good day. I'm interviewing for a pet/house sitter position in Golden, British Columbia. I am currently taking an online program though the International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants, which is providing me with an integral understanding of science-based modern animal training techniques. I have been using these training methods on my own dog whom I rescued earlier in the year, and have been training and walking dogs in shelter conditions for years. I am especially interested in this opportunity because I could gain more hands on experience training animals. All training is under the LIMA standard (least intrusive, minimally aversive). I am also extremely physically fit and an experienced snow remover. I have a wealth of knowledge and interest in horticulture and can adequately care for plants. I have been a professional home cleaner in winter months for 4 years. I am working towards starting a business working with problem behaviours in canines, but have spent the last 3 years as a treeplanter in the spring/summer months and as a house cleaner/snow remover in the winter months. I have first aid, food safe, a drivers license and reliable vehicle. I am reliable, hardworking, compassionate and trustworthy. I have developed exceptional patience in working with animals and you can be sure I will care for your home with the highest standards.
