My name is Joy and I’m a Librarian. I’m reliable, caring, and conscientious and will carefully follow any and all of your instructions. I’ve taken care of others’ homes and pets periodically over the last 18 years and cared for my own sweet dog Riley for 14 years. I would love to help take care of your home and pets! For house sitting, I’ll check mail, set out and return trash, water plants, make sure your home is secure, etc. Happy to discuss additional tasks. For your pets, I will make sure they are well cared for with walks, fresh food and water, litter box cleanup, play time, treats, etc. My priority is to make sure your pet is comfortable, so let’s discuss anything additional you may want. I can send updates with photos for your peace of mind. My availability is flexible, let’s discuss what you need. I’m a Librarian and have passed multiple background checks for jobs in Illinois and California, most recently University of California, Berkeley in 2016 and Alameda Public Library in 2020. I am up to date on all vaccinations and can wear a mask in your property and wipe down surfaces. Just let me know what would make you most comfortable.
