House Sitter in Laguna Beach, California

My name is Sarah Elizabeth Colburn, and I'm an English Instructor at UCI. I was born in Orange, and I have lived back in Southern California for the last 5 years. I lived in Dana Point for in the lantern district until this June when my landlord sporadically decided to sell the house. I am now residing in Tustin Hills at my grandmother's house until I find the perfect nest somewhere in South County. I have worked at restaurants and taught at yoga studios in Dana Point and Laguna and my son goes to preschool in North Laguna. My son's name is River and is 5 years old and lives with me 50% of the time, and his dad 50% of the time in Dana Point. I am interested in caring for your home because I'm in a transitional place myself right now, and being able to be close to my son's preschool and dad's house for drop off/pick up (even just temporarily) would be great. I'm also only teaching part time, so I have more than enough time to make sure your home is cared for, locked up, mail is retrieved, animals are fed, and lights are turned off/on. I am even willing to do some light cleaning if you desire. I take very good care of the space that I am in and always leave a place better than it was when I found it, even if that simply means there is a fresh flower on the table and a note with important messages or packages. I am an excellent communicator and can always respond back directly to any communication from you via text or call while you're away to ensure everything is running smoothly at your home. I'm super flexible with dates and times and would love to meet you and see your home and hear about what you need while you're away!
