House Sitter in Sun Valley, Idaho

Hi there! My name is Caroline and I just recently relocated to Sun Valley. I absolutely love this place already and feel like I stumbled upon a gem of a little mountain town :) For work, I have kept been in these past months offering my nanny, pet-care, and housesitting services to the community. I've been helping several families out consistently and feel really grateful for the sense of community that I already feel here. The hours I work are in short spurts and only a few days a week, so they shouldn't keep me away from any animals for too long at all. As far as my main interests, the mountains will always have my heart. I love anything to do with camping and long-distance solo backpacking! I travel frequently and have lived in many places over the years. In the past year I traveled to Italy and completed an 85 mile trail weaving up and down through the Dolomiti range! This has really got wheels turning and I can't wait to plan my next one. Throughout the past several years, I have acquired quite a colorful resume while tending large properties (10-14 acre) and homes while living on the Big Island of Hawai'i. I gained experience in large scale gardening/landscape and permaculture, building barns and cabins, and caring for many animals (cows, donkeys, horses, dogs and cats). I completed an equine therapy apprenticeship a couple years ago and am currently volunteering at Swiftsure Ranch to continue learning from horses and be of service. I also am very into alternative medicine and energy healing, as I studied Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in Portland, OR. Qigong and herbalism are other passions of mine that have stemmed off of these studies. The top qualities I would use to describe myself are: honest, reliable, grounded, and inviting. I'm someone you can trust and depend upon. Within my own home, it's always been very important to me to keep spaces clean, rather pristine in energy, and I hold the same intentions when visiting any other space.
