The world is a crazy place and looks to be getting more so. A few years ago I had a very close call. I take nothing for granted and go out of my way to help in any way I can. Not much causes me panic or distress. One Fall Friday night when my son was young, the water heater failed while we were at his little league game. That doesn't sound too awful, right? The average homeowner must have that happen at least once. Well, it so happened that there is a little metal ball inside the pipe going into the water heater that should have shut the water from the master pipe. Not in this case. It failed and water poured into the basement for hours. About 2000 square feet of finished space including a huge very full walk-in closet under almost 3 feet of water. This was not the way to get an indoor pool. Over a decade later, my son is at Pepperdine and with everything going on in the world, I would like to be close by more often than not. Not to cramp his style, but for a home cooked meal or just a hug from mom. Walking the dog or cuddling with the cat is simply a bonus for me not a chore. I love to walk and bring snacks and water for my companions. Looking for sitting opportunities in the area as I am not close by any longer, but would consider most of California since anywhere you go is so incredibly beautiful. I am a homebody and caretaker by nature. As you permit. If it is out of place I will put it back. If it is scratched, I will fix it. If it is broken I will find you a replacement unless it can be fixed. I sew, garden, cook, bake, organize, clean out, reconcile accounts, manage renovation projects and make them come in on time and budget but nicely. I am attentive to detail and will go out of my way to make sure your fur family and property are as happy as when you left them. If allergies are no issue the fur babies will even get homemade treats. My previous professional life includes years in finance, compliance and audit along with managing a security company or two. So the safe keeping of anything under my purview is something I attend to fastidiously with care and dedication. My experience also equips me to respond calmly to a crisis. Having had crowds at events under management of hundreds of thousands as well as intimate events requiring discretion and not being noticed, I understand the privacy needs that accompany any engagement.
