Hello, my name is Lynne Kernan. I currently live in Freehold and have for the past 40 plus years. A little bit about me personally...I love animals and I love to tend to my garden. If I knew how much I loved them when I was younger I would have been veterinarian, or I would’ve owned a garden center. I am a single mother to an amazing but sometimes challenging 17-year-old son who will be leaving for college at the end of August. I have 5 siblings. Three brothers and two sisters. My brother Andrew is an attorney who lives in and has his practice in Freehold. My sisters Beth lives in Freehold and is a nurse. My other sister Laura is an architect and realtor and lives in Colts Neck. My parents are retired and have been married for 52 yrs. They live in Manchester (mom is a nurse a well). My friends would say I am honest, dependable, reliable, loyal & super friendly. So much so that they joke all the time about the fact that I'm too friendly because I will talk to anyone. Whether it's a homeless person or a CEO. Making people feel comfortable & getting them to smile makes me happy. I'm always hoping when I meet someone new that they always feel as if they are family. A bit about me professionally… I am a former business owner of a bagel store/deli (12yrs long hard years). I have been in the corporate world since I sold my store and I have finally decided it is not how I want to spend my time.
