Shane is one of my good friends who is a very responsible and dependable person. He is very organized and detail oriented. He is very knowledgable about housing (relating to plumbing, air filters, carbon monoxide alarms, structural issues) and how to fix things that are not functioning. On multiple occasions, he has watched my cats and checked on my home while I was traveling. He has also helped when my basement flooded, and knew how to act quickly to minimize the damage. I would highly recommend Shane as a house sitter because if a housing related disaster happens while you are away, Shane would figure out how to manage the problem immediately.
