Hello!
My name is Rachel, I am a Brooklyn resident and long time house and pet sitter. I am interested in booking some house-sitting jobs this fall/winter. I am an actor and voice over artist, so for the time being I primarily work from home doing free lance and my own independent projects. This gives me some flexibility in terms of location and schedule, making house and pet sitting a potentially wonderful fit for my current situation!
I am very adaptable to new routines, environments, and value thorough communication before and during a house sitting assignment to ensure the home owner feels as comfortable as possible.
I love animals and truly value getting to spend time with them. :) Whether dogs or cats I am able to take care of all their needs. Happy and capable to go on long walks with dogs!
I have also been developing my own green thumb the past few years, so am able to look after plants as well!
I will keep your home clean and cared for with the utmost attention and love.

My husband and I have trusted Rachel to watch our energetic black lab several times over this past year. She has done everything from just taking our pup on a walk while we were at work, to staying at our house while we were away for a full week. Rachel is very communicative, trustworthy, responsive, kind, and our dog loves getting to hangout with her! Rachel closely follows all the instructions we leave her, and is always sending us pictures and updates throughout the day. We are so grateful to have found someone who puts our minds at ease while we are away. Rachel has always taken excellent care of our dog and our house and we are so happy to have found her! I already plan on asking Rachel to help us out in the future.

Rachel B sat in my home multiple times in 2021 spring and summer. I felt confident my home was well taken care of each time we were out of town. Rachel was good about reading and following the notes provided. When small tasks were added (watering planters) she was willing to take them on. She also was good about contacting us when she had any questions. Rachel left our home clean and orderly. She also notified us of her arrival and her departure.
