House Sitter in Superior, Colorado

For us it’s much more than housesitting or taking care of a couple of pets. At our ranch we have horses, chickens, a large garden, two cats, a dog and a deck full of planters. In the area surrounding us we have coyotes, bears and rattlesnakes. We also live miles from the nearest town and with all the critters that you might run into on the road (deer and moose, to name a couple) you can’t just run to the store for that forgotten dinner ingredient. This isn’t an easy place to manage which makes it both much more important and much more difficult to find the right person to stay here on the rare occasions that we leave. Arista is the only person we trust to be here if we’re gone for more than three or four days. With Arista here I don’t have to worry about my precious tomato plants dying much less our pets feeling unloved or eggs stacking up and going bad in the chicken coop.

I have known Arista since 2014. She rented our house when we moved to Germany for 2 years. That is why I can highly recommend her as a house sitter for you. We were not there to monitor our house for those 2 years and had to trust that she would take good care of our home and our property. We were not disappointed! We were not allowed to take our Pit Mix with us and Arista offered to take care of him. Her dog and ours did not get along at all, but Arista patiently and lovingly worked with them until one day she sent me a photo of the 2 dogs snuggled together on the couch! Her own dog Sky, passed away at the age of 17 and Arista did everything she could to ensure Sky had a wonderful life. I know Arista to be honest, dependable and trustworthy. She is very intelligent, hard working and talented. I would not hesitate to trust any of my pets to her care. I wished she lived closer because I really need a pet sitter!

Arista did such a good job taking care of our kitties! We were away for nearly a month and left 5 cats in her care, one of which also had to take medicine twice daily. Before we left she dropped by and gathered all the information she needed to do the job well. While we were out we got regular updates from Arista with pictures, so we could rest assured everything at home was fine. When we came back the house was in wonderful condition and the cats were all healthy and happy! Highly recommended!

Arista is the best. She loves my dogs and they love her. She stays at my home and takes care of everything—plants, mail, etc. Where has she been all my life?! My only hesitation to recommending her is that I want her all to myself!
