House Sitter in Vernon, British Columbia

EXPERIENCED FARM SITTER Thompson OKANAGAN REGION Hello I am a semi retired lady looking for farm sitting positions in the Thompson Okanagan region. I generally look after horses, cats and dogs, but can look after other animals if required. Sheep, cows, goats, chickens, alpacas are fine too. I am based in Vernon but will travel to other towns for periods of more than seven days. For periods of two weeks or longer I will travel outside the Okanagan up to 300 km. Gas surcharge will apply and varies with distance travelled. My rates vary depending on the amount of chores to be done and the situation and location. Dogs and cats $35 daily. Mixed farm animals $50 to $75 EXTRA JOBS WILL BE CHARGED ACCORDINGLY. I will care for your animals like they were my own and make sure your place is in great shape when you return from vacation. I can administer medication and make sure they're all healthy safe and in good condition . I have excellent references and would be happy to provide them. FOR LONG TERM SITS (4 weeks or more) THERE IS AN UPFRONT CANCELLATION FEE WHICH WOULD BE DEDUCTED UPON COMPLETION OF THE RESERVATION. If possible I like to meet with farm owners if I am in your area.
