ABOUT ME: I am a recent graduate of NYU, where I studied Recorded Music at the Clive Davis Institute. Since graduating, I have gone on a few tours as a sound person and have worked many audio jobs both in my home and in studios across the city. Lately I have been doing mostly from-home work, so housesitting felt like a natural option-- my being home all day might as well help someone else out :-) I have been dog and cat house-sitting for years as well and, after dozens of positive experiences, I am looking to do more. I am a total gushy animal lover, so if you have a dog or cat (or reptile or rodent or bird or exotic animal), I would love to help you out! Between my vast professional and passionate experience with many animals and the fact that I work from home, I am an ideal candidate for house-sitting with pets. Of course, I am also happy to offer my assistance to those without animals. In each situation I promise nothing but friendly respect, honesty, utmost care, and high cleanliness standards. EXPERIENCE WITH ANIMALS: - Completed dozens of dog boarding and house sitting (both of which also included daily walks) & have many positive references - Grew up with/cared for a Beagle/Golden who lived to 16 and a Husky/Shepard who lived to 17 (in addition to a cat, a few snakes, a turtle, a hamster, guinea pigs, & a rat) - Fostered a Pitbull puppy (3m) & a senior Chi/Terrier (1y) - work with: separation anxiety/behavioral issues, meeting new dogs with behavioral issues without the owner present, administering medicine, dogs w physical ailments, running dogs, & all kinds of specific requests! WHY I HOUSE SIT: I highly value the importance of a person's relationship to their home, space, and the animals things inside of it -- and you deserve to have that level of respect in a house sitter! Like I said, I am primarily excited about animals with pets-- being around animals is a top reason for my wanting to house sit-- but I love house sitting without animals as well! I have been living in New York for 6 years and I LOVE that I find at least one new gem every time I house sit. Considering all this and the fact that I get to help great people to have confidence that their home is in good hands, house sitting is ideal for me!
