My first rule of thumb when tending to another person's home is to ALWAYS leave it better than I found it; whether that's putting away dishes that were left in the dishwasher, vacuuming up some stray dog hair, or folding a forgotten load of laundry, I want the experience of coming home to be warm and welcoming. I am a clean and tidy person that has been housesitting and petsitting for 10 years with excellent references. I'm experienced with short weekend getaways as well as 2.5 month summer escapes. I have experience tending large gardens of flowers and tomatoes, and caring for a vast array of animals (horses, dogs, cats, parrots, snakes, hamsters, salt water fish, and fresh water fish). I NEVER invite over personal guests to your home without prior permission and even with that it's a very rare occurrence. I never ever want you as the homeowner to feel uncomfortable or worried about your property while you are away.
