Hello, we are Jenna and Michael. We are a happy and fun couple that enjoys travelling and adventures when we are not working, but we often look for opportunities in our own backyard to develop new friendships and references. House Sitting is one of those opportunities for us. Jenna is 28 and Michael is 39. Jenna is a 28 year old professional Cake Decorator, cruise enthusiast & vacation planner, loves to read, is a fantastic chef, and enjoys spare time hiking the trails with her Labradoodle "Ruby". Michael is a 39 year old Sr. Finance Analyst, online marketing & social media entrepreneur, copywriter for email marketing, online coach, an excellent cook, guitarist, plant enthusiast/gardener, and enjoys hiking, travel, & the beach. We both love animals and have experience with birds, cats, dogs, reptiles, and fish. We are very patient, understanding, careful, and mindful of the pets we take care of, to avoid messes, accidents, and disturbance of the interior/exterior home environment or disturbance of neighbors. Jenna has extensive experience house sitting for family, friends, and travelling professionals in Sonoma County, California. She has a love for pets and enjoys being away from home to help care for the homes of others when they are away. Mail pickup, errands, trash/recycling schedules, making sure sprinkler systems and pool pumps are coming on at scheduled times for cleaning. Michael has experience house sitting for friends, families, & travelling professionals. He also has 2 years experience assisting elderly & disabled individuals with meals, cleaning, assistance with wheel chair accessibility, handling phone calls, medical appointments, and prescription refills. Michael has 10 years extensive experience with all types of plants, grasses, trees, feeding schedules, nutrient disorders, feeding automation/timers, sprinklers, basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and handyman duties. We both a keen eye for keeping an eye on the weather and how it can affect outdoor equipment and furniture, and being prepared to cover or move if necessary. We are also always aware of any security related issues and know when to immediately report suspicious activities. We work as a team when we need to clean and are very detail oriented. We are knowledgeable with all kitchen equipment, tools, and appliances. If we are allowed to cook at our host location, we are very mindful/careful and always clean as we cook, making sure we leave the kitchen spotless. This includes the bathroom as well. We make sure to deal with any spoiled foods in the fridge, indoor/outdoor pests, or mold/mildew issues we come across very quickly & effectively. We know what to do to preserve frozen or refrigerated foods during power outages, and how to reset appliances or devices as necessary. We are very effective at verbal and written communication. We keep a daily written log of events and details for each home we house sit for, visitors that stop by, calls that come in, receipts for any necessary purchases, so you know what's going on while you are away, and we are also effective at checking in from time to time as requested.
