House Sitter in Washington, District of Columbia

Hello! I am a DC/MD/VA local with 6 years experience in house/ pet sitting. I have experience tending to indoor and outdoor plants, pool maintenance, and troubleshooting minor household appliances and functions. I love looking after cats and dogs (and have even looked after reptiles!) I will be sure your pet is well attended to, fed, and exercised while you are away. As a local I am familiar with many neighborhoods in the area and their accommodations, and am comfortable in my surroundings. My responsibilities have included collecting and assorting mail, lawn maintenance (watering grass, clearing leaves/ debris/ snow) and ensuring the overall security of the property. I also take phone messages and collect deliveries as required. I am open to any special request you may have (for example: emptying out de-humidifier or operating sump pump during heavy rain). I am currently working in Washington DC, with my own transportation to accommodate those who prefer last minute/ short stay options. My schedule is quite flexible, allowing for extended period house attendance. I have excellent recommendations from families in the DMV area upon request.
