EXPERIENCE I have worked as a dog daycare leader at a big pet store franchise for approximately a year, and the rest of my experience comes from volunteering at shelters and rescues, as well as personal encounters. I have my own car, a 2017 Nissan, and have owned two dogs in my youth (sadly they passed away early on). I have primarily owned cats, and now I am a cat expert! METHODOLOGY I apply holistic principles to my "dog minding". My perspective is that dogs are people too, and each dog is different, so they will need tailor made playtimes and walks to suit them. The priorities lie in stimulation and channeling destructive or overenergetic behaviors into healthy situations and environments. I have experience caring for larger dogs and can lift 75 lbs. EXTRAS I make my own limited ingredient and nut free dog vegan treats and offer an organic dog friendly fragrance and wipe down for the messy ones. I carry biodegradable waste bags and believe in the power of balls and frisbees. 20 to 30 min dog walking: pick your dog's energy level! Daycare: Options include traveling to sights, dog friendly venues. Dogsitting: Options include going to a local dog park or dog friendly beach/a local hike trail.
