My name is Carissa. I have home pet sat for the past 4 years here in Los Angeles and I look forward to help care for your home family. Born & raised in New York City, I taught yoga dance while performing in theatre for over a decade.
Currently, when not minding others' homes and pets, I teach yoga meditation nutrition classes/workshops as well as write, cook, and make music. My passions for animals and nature guide how I've been able to serve others while serving myself. I'd love to connect with you, your home, your furry (or not so furry) pets, plants family.

I don’t normally have a house sitter but i’m also not normally away for 3 weeks, so this time I thought it important. You want a house sitter to be respectful and responsible so that you feel good about them being in your space. Carissa instilled trust and provided peace of mind. She took in packages and mail, dealt with the cable guy, and watered my plant. Okay only one plant but it’s a very special plant! Upon return I not only found the place neat and tidy (plant was fine) but she even washed laundry and left me with a sweet little bouquet of flowers on the table. Carissa is the kind of person you’d want to have your spare key....just in case.

Carissa couldn't have been more responsible or delightful! She took such good care of our canine baby, sending photos, taking him on long walks, lots of snuggles, and good playtime. You could see, when we returned, how much he doted on her. While we were gone, Carissa responded immediately to all of our texts, she took excellent care of our home, was super-clean and careful. We would absolutely use her again and trusted her absolutely with our dog and our house.
