House Sitter in Vancouver, British Columbia

My name is Elise Escaravage, and I am a former college professor in Political Science and International Relations. I am moving back to Vancouver where I applied to a PhD position to start in september 2018, and am looking for house sitting positions in Vancouver to give me enough time to look for a flat and to settle back in the city. I have a master's in human rights policy and practice from 3 universities in Europe.... So as you can see, I am clearly a nerd -not a party animal. I have had the privilege to live around the world for the past 9-10 years. I speak fluently 4 languages (French being my mother tongue, Spanish, English and Swedish) and can also converse in Norwegian and Mandarin.... Communication is therefore rarely an issue, and I like people to be upfront about things with me (this is the Quebecois-side I guess... and no, I am not a separatist). I am a very tidy person who loves outdoors, acroyoga and rock climbing. I am very respectfully of others' place, and have been living with two elderly people for the past year. We get along great, and I would be more than happy to provide you with references if need be.
