My trained profession is Teacher. I am working as a substitute in Ascension Parish. We set our own schedules as a sub. I have worked as a PCA-Personal Care Attendant for about 2-1/2 years. I guess you can say I was a house manager. I was of charge of a house(s) of people with disabilities or elderly. I had to cook meals, clean, help with grooming, give medications, etc. I made sure the house maintenance was kept and made appointments with alarm systems, air conditioning, etc. personnel. I also helped to take care of pets. I lived in houses with no clients and just waited for clients to arrive. So, this has prepared me to be a house sitter. My employers were well pleased with my performance.
