House Sitter in Forest Lake, Minnesota

Hi, my name is Noah Brace and I am 18 years old. I grew up all over the Twin Cities. I am currently attending Century College and studying accounting. I love math so it makes sense :). I also have a full-time job as an Electrical Engineer at Electramatic Inc. located in Minneapolis. It's not as fancy as it sounds but I love it and the people I work with. In my free time I like to hangout with my friends, go hiking or camping, and go bowling. I also love to cook! Actually, I love to eat so I put up with cooking. I've been house/pet sitting since I was 10 years old for my neighbors and family friends. Just this past summer I started widening my horizons and offering my services around the Twin Cities. As I started to take care of more peoples belongings and pets I've grown to love it more and more. To be able to help somebody get out of their home to enjoy some much needed vacation time, or to relieve the stress of somebody going on a business trip who doesn't know what to do with their home or pets has been one of the best things I've ever done. I love to help people and you best believe that I will in the absolute best way I can. I'll do just about anything you could think of. From taking care of your dog to reorganizing your garage. Don't hesitate to ask me what I can do for you. If you are more comfortable with me staying at the home, I can do that. If you only want me there to do the duties and nothing more, so be it. Your wish is my command. EXPERIENCE: Back in June there was an enormous storm with major winds (I'm talking monsoon winds) and extreme flash floods. During this storm I had been taking care of a young family's home and cat while they were on vacation for a couple of weeks. Long story short, a 50 foot tree fell right on the house causing tremendous damage. It had also taken power lines down and put them on the roof (scary!). I called the family to let them know what was going on, I also sent them pictures. They were worried and ready to cut their vacation short by a week and come home (I would be, too!). I convinced them that I had everything under control and started to walk them through the steps I was going to take to get through this crazy and unfortunate situation. First, call excel energy to get the power lines taken care of and 911 if necessary. Second, take way too many detailed photos from every angle. Third, if excel will not remove the tree I will (I am experienced). Fourth, once the tree is all removed I'll cut and split it so you have lots of firewood! (You have to find the positives in every situation. FREE firewood!!) During all steps I was Looking carefully all over the house to assess for leaks or other damage caused by the incident.
