Aloha! My name is Karoline and I have been traveling solo sporadically the last 2 years. I'm 23 years old from Norway with a love of travel, experiences and new connections. After my first solo trip to Greece, which in all honesty was awful I still caught the travel bug. I decided to throw myself back into traveling 6 months later with a 5 week backpacking journey and it's my absolute favourite experience ever. Leaving me with so many life lessons, friendships and perspective. Half a year later I did it again and backpacked in Denmark, Holland and Italy. I've always wanted to buy that one-way ticket and travel for as long as possible and now it was finally time. I'm currently in Oahu about to be done with my work exchange at a hostel and I can feel the peace slowly but surely setting in. I wanted to immerse myself in another way of living and enjoy more community and nature. A couple of reasons as to why I'm always traveling is to get to know likeminded people and find inspiration that I could never get at home. Learn new skills and develop myself. As well as connecting with different people and collaborating in a space that allows me to learn and develop, while being somewhere safe. I have had several jobs the last 8 years including: 1. Receptionist for a flight simulator company 2. Cleaner for office spaces 3. Product photography 4. CEO of our youth company in High School 5. Kitchen assistent 6. Waitress for private parties, including weddings. 7. Graphic designer for a publisher 8. Kindergarden assistent (on and off for 4 years) 9. Birthday host and daycare employee 10. Elementary school assistent 11. Freelance graphic design I have volunteered at one of Norways biggest music festivals. Some of my responsibilities included keeping the grounds clean, taking care of recycling, as well as preparing the arena for other activities during the festival. I’ve also done a work exchange at a hostel working as a housekeeper My dedication to ensuring the well-being of your furry friends knows no bounds.
