For several years, Dannielle has been my go-to person for house-sitting/pet-sitting. Whether it's a quick weekend getaway or a longer trip, I feel so secure knowing that I have Dannielle looking after my home and pets while I'm gone. Dannielle is professional, reliable, thoughtful, thorough and is a great communicator. If I leave her instructions about something unusual or different that's happening -- no worries, she's on it. If something arises while I'm gone -- no worries, she's on it. When it comes to my cats: Dannielle is always on top of the simple stuff, like food, water and litter box. But she's also administered medicines, and looked after my elderly cat with special needs. Most importantly, she easily adapts her behavior to suit different pet temperaments -- fun and playful with my social cat, quiet and extra-gentle with my shy cat. (Proof: she got my scared cat to love her, which is a minor miracle!) When it comes to housesitting: Dannielle takes care of all the little things, like mail, watering plants, liaising with cleaners or repair people. If emergencies arise -- like the time a major appliance went kablooey just as I was leaving for vacation -- she's there to help. Overall, Dannielle is a delight to work with. I never want to leave town without knowing she'll be caring for my pets and home.
