House Sitter in Durham, North Carolina

Hello! I'm a PhD student at Duke and currently working on writing my dissertation. For the last 5 years I have been both a host and a traveller through Airbnb, so I know what it means to respect someone else's home and also how to keep a home running smoothly and spotlessly. I also have extensive experience with plants an animals! I am an avid gardener and have both free-lanced and worked for pet sitting companies (my first job was taking care of my neighbor's horse while they were on vacation!). Since I'm writing, I have the ability to be relatively mobile with my work. This means there are many days when I could be writing at home (i.e., hanging out with your pet or being a visible presence in your home). I'm hoping to find gigs on the longer side but would be open to short term as well.
