Hi there! I'm Samantha. I'm an experienced house, plant, and pet sitter offering my services to those in the Greater Portland/Southern Maine area. I am available for single, regular, or extended visits, however I am not available for overnights. I am an animal and plant lover and have kept happy, healthy flora and fauna for 15 years. Along with my own collection of large exotic house plants and extensive landscape of native plants, I have a loveable goof of a dog and elderly house rabbit. I understand the nuances of care for exotic, elderly, and special needs species of all kinds and will take the time to listen and adhere to specific care instructions. From feeding, to walking, to watering, to pruning (the plants of course), I'm happy to do it all! I am pet first aid certified, have experience with obedience training, and familiar with pests/diseases for both exotic and native plants. I also know what it takes to look after a home. I am happy to collect mail and packages, check on home systems and appliances, monitor for security, and keep an eye out for any potential weather damage. I can bring out trash/recycling to the curb and bring the bins back in. I also offer light gardening maintenance for landscapes, food gardens, and flower gardens. With an impeccable eye for detail and a dedication to care and thoughtfulness, I will care for your house, plants, and/or pets just like my own.
