ABOUT ME Hi there! Thanks for checking out my profile. I am a trained educator embarking on a fresh path to get to know this wonderful world I live in. I am mainly interested in sits during Summer (June - August) and Winter (December - January) vacations. I love adventures and I am excited to visit new cities and towns which are so different from my own. I am originally from the vibrant Caribbean Island of Jamaica where I still have my family and friends. I currently work as a General Manager in our family's construction business, but during the holiday periods I work remotely so I am able to travel to new places and provide adequate pet care. I have a lot of pets and I was raised by a family who always had dogs and various species of fish. In the past 6 years we added a cat that has quickly taken over the house as cats are known to do. I take pride in my work and surrounding, I enjoy relaxing in a clean fresh environment so I always ensure that the homes I stay in are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. I have traveled all across and stayed in every parish on the tiny, beautiful island that I originated from - Jamaica. As I get older, I am ready to expand and see more of the world through the mutually beneficial arrangement of house/pet sitting. I believe that there is more to life and seeing the world is a part of what I think makes life more fun and beautiful. WHY I LIKE HOUSE SITTING Meeting new people and exploring new places has always been my dream. Having spent my entire adulthood making sure everyone around me is well taken care of, I am at a point in my life where I believe it is time to live for me. As such I am ready to embark on fulfilling my dream of seeing the world. MY EXPERIENCE I have so far done quite a number of sits, my most memorable was in the summer of 2013. I house and pet sat for a family that went on vacation for two months. They left their five bedroom home in my care as well as their two lovely dogs, a very feisty cat, one reserved turtle, two amazing birds, an outside waterfall with pond and fish to boot, inside aquariums with several species of fish, many fruit bearing trees and both indoor and outdoor plants, as well as their swimming pool that needed to be maintained. This past summer, I was privileged to move around the East Bay caring for a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, fish and frogs. I look forward to continuing my adventures.
