House Sitter in Kelowna, British Columbia

Hi!! My name is Caelan, and I am a digital nomad currently working and travelling my way around the world. I grew up in Norway, but moved back to Canada 5 years ago to study business at university. As long as I have good Wi-Fi connection, I can work almost anywhere and this allows me to fulfill my passion for seeing the world. I like to slow-travel and really get to know a place, and I also love animals but can't have my own until I put the globe-trotting to rest! This makes housesitting a great option for someone like me - I stay home quite a bit plugging away on the computer, but I also love to get out and explore, go for walks, take in the rays of sun, etc. This is always more fun when I have a furry friend to join me, of course. I want to house sit because quite frankly it fits my lifestyle wonderfully. It's an opportunity for me to enjoy a new place and ideally care for some sweet pets, and I get to help someone out that's in need of a reliable sitter. I see it as a win-win all around :D Growing up my best friend was my chocolate lab, Frieda, and in my spare time I volunteered at an animal shelter. I have previous experience housesitting with pets. One was for a family who were taking a 3-month long vacation, and my duties were to keep an eye on the home (mail, cleaning, watering plants, etc.) as well as the owners' diabetic cat (giving insulin shots, feeding, taking out, etc.). The other was a housesit (day and occasional nights) with three dogs, one cat, and two children. Both experiences were extremely different, but absolutely wonderful and I look forward to meeting more great people with pets that need some love!
