House Sitter in Boulder, Colorado

Hello! I'm an experienced dog, cat and home sitter who has recently returned to Boulder after spending two years volunteering at a retreat center in Canada. I'm good with plants as well, and don't mind doing some property care. I am a mature woman and live a pretty quiet life, reading, writing, meditating and enjoying four-legged friends. I currently work a varied full time schedule, so animals that require strict care schedules aren't the best fit, though the average pup who can be flexible with daily walks are fine. I was raised with a german shepard who was happily allowed on furniture, and personally, I love sharing some bed-space with any variety of furry four legged companions. I have had cats my entire life up until my 19 year old passed in 2014. Since then, I've been relegated to tending other people's companions. We had one Tom cat "Guinness" at the retreat center who was as good a therapist as any being alive. While his human lived there part time, the cat lived there full time and often took up residence at my dwelling. Lately I've been sitting mostly for older healthy dogs, and the occasional dog/cat pairs. I prefer week-long or longer house-sits and prefer healthy pets - I don't administer shots or provide other veterinary care. Please drop me an email to discuss dates and your situation.
